Ipsy MyGlam bag July 2013

My ipsy Bag

J'ai reçu ce paquet par la poste cette semaine et c'est ma nouvelle Ipsy bag de juillet 2013, anciennement connue sous le nom de Myglam.
J'étais abonnée à Myglam il y a un an mais avec la multitude de boite, sac qui sont proposés sur le marché, je m'étais orientée vers Glossybox, une boite fantastique, un peu plus chère et haut de gamme. Ipsy me semblaient à l'époque un peu cheap, des marques inconnues et des marques de supermarché, c'est pas ce qu'il y a de plus intéressant...
Mais voilà, Glossybox n'existe plus au Canada, donc je me suis remise à Ipsy pour pouvoir recevoir tous les mois, pour $12, des échantillons et des produits taille réelle, c'est déjà mieux que rien!

I got some mail this week, and here is the july 2013 Ipsy bag that I received on time.
I subscribed to Myglam a year ago but with the multitude of boxes, bags that are available on the market, I was more attracted by Glossybox, a fantastic box, a little more expensive with high-end brands. Ipsy seemed at the time a little cheap, unknown brands and supermarket brands, this is not what is most interesting ...so I decided to stop the subscription at that time.
But now, Glossybox no longer exists in Canada, so I went back to Ipsy in order to receive every month for $ 12, samples and full size products, it's better than nothing!

Donc, on a une carte avec des mentions de marques et des rabais, mais aucune mention du contenu du sac, aucune description...ça part mal!

So we have in this little pouch, those products:

Le bleu royal appliqué n'a pas du tout la même couleur que dans la palette et il est aussi peu pigmenté. Le reste est ok mais je ne suis pas certaine d'utiliser le kit parce les couleurs sont un peu trop criardes pour moi.

The purple/bleu color is not very pigmented, and the color of the swatch is different from the eyeshadow. The rest is better. Not sure that the palette is made for me, colors like these are too bold for me.

Enfin quelque chose que j'aime! Un crayon rouge à lèvre de chez Pop Beauty dans la teinte Coral crush. En plus, c'est un produit en telle normale!

It's a sheer finish, nicely tinted and moiturizing.

VERDICT: le contenu de mon Ipsy bag me plait, bien que je ne connaisse quasiment aucune marque. Le produit que je préfère est le crayon pour les lèvres, la couleur est très belle pour l'été. Le reste est plutôt cheap, cela ne m'étonne pas, je savais à quoi m'attendre!

VERDICT: This Ipsy bag is ok but definitely cheap and I'm not very impressed neither, I knew it but I'm still be continuing with the subscription for next month...will see...The only product I like is the lipstick, the rest is not really interesting especially the trio eyeshadow, too colorful for me.

Je l'ai déjà en version 32oz, donc forcément, un peu plus de produit ne me dérange pas, j'aime beaucoup ce savon, il est vraiment bien pour retirer tout le maquillage sous la douche. Ce petit échantillon, de taille généreuse, permet d'être utilisé plusieurs fois (pas comme certains échantillons d'autres services...). Le parfum est agréable et léger, si vous aimez la fleur d'oranger avec un peu de frangipane, vous serez fan de ce produit! Ce que j'aime dans ce savon, il est doux et ne tiraille pas la peau.

I already own the full giant size of the product! So I'm glad I received this little one, this will be perfect for travelling. I like it because it gently cleans your face and has a nice orange flower scent, rather light, so it is ok also for sensitive people. It is so gentle that I doesn't taut or dry out your face.

J'aime beaucoup le concept que j'ai déjà utilisé quelquesfois dans le passé. C'est très facile de pose, durable, cependant quelque peu pénible à enlever. Pour retirer ces stickers, il faut prendre un coton imbibé de dissolvant, poser le coton sur l'ongle et entourer le tout avec un papier d'aluminium, laisser poser 5 à 10 min et hop!

Le principe est original mais le prix régulier est encore une fois trop élevé malheureusement car cela ne dure que 10 jours au final...

I really like the nail sticker concept, it is easy to use, durable however, somewhat difficult to remove. 

Quick tip, to remove these stickers, or glitters, take a cotton pad soaked with nail polish remover, put cotton on the nail and wrap with an aluminum foil your finger, leave for 5 to 10 minutes and that's it!

The idea is fun but I find the regular price is too high for me again because unfortunately, it only lasts 10 days in the end and is usable only once.

C'est le produit qui a attiré le plus mon attention, c'est encore une opération marketing...après la BB crème, voici la CC crème! Et il existe mantenant des DD crèmes...

La texture est assez épaisse mais sur le peau, rien d'apparent. Le produit est très hydratant, il protège la peau du soleil, mais il n'a pas un pouvoir couvrant dément. Moi qui aime les fond de teints couvrant, c'est pas vraiment le cas pour celui-ci. Je vous ferai une revue d'ici peu.

After the BB cream, here is the CC cream and I also heard about a DD cream...ok, this is another trend and everyone is jumping in the wagon!
I am rather exited to try the new concept because as a cosmetic junky, I like to try out new things.
The texture is thick, easy to blend but there is no coverage. I can't see any result on my freckles...I need to try the product a little bit more.
It is supposed to color correct your skin, to protect your skin from the sun, it also has anti-agent properties, hydrates, etc. We'll see later if it's a miracle product...

Mon produit préféré, un beau pinceau pour appliquer le foond de teint! J'aurai préféré avoir du maquillage, mais pourquoi pas, c'est pas mal non plus, les poils sont doux et la taille, bien adaptée.

Je n'utilise pas de produit coiffant et encore moins de gels, mais pourquoi pas!

Verdict:

Une boite vraiment généreuse avec une valeur de près de $100, plutôt pas mal pour un abonnement qui ne vous coûte que $30 par boite. Le contenu général me plait mais j'ai préféré mes boites précédentes avec des marques plus prestigieuses et plus connues comme Lancôme...et avec plus de maquillage que d'accessoires.

This is a very generous box, it really worth the $30 I spent! The entire value of the box is about $100 which is crazy!

I like the content of my Luxe box but I'm quite disappointed not to have found more high-end and well-knowned brands like I had few month back. But overall, this is a nice box and I'm still having fun with it!

Here is my favortite color of the moment for my nails, this is such a beautiful color, really creammy, so girly but still wearable.

A nice fresh minty shade, not too green, not too blue, the perfect mint!

Tarte Matte Bronzer Amazonian Clay Park Avenue Princess - Swatches and Review

Tarte Amazonian Clay Park Avenue Princess dans sa version matte fait partie de ma collection depuis un certain temps mais je n'avais encore jamais eu l'occasion d'en faire la revue. Donc la voici!
Je m'étais procuré ce bronzer après avoir essayé sa version irisée que j'avais tant aimé (revue du produit ICI)

La version matte est vraiment bien pour dessiner le contour de votre visage mais également pour vous donner un coup de boost. J'adore l'utiliser! Il n'est pas trop orangé, ni trop terne, ce qui lui permet d'être versatile et facile d'emploi sans parler de ses propriétés hydratantes et waterproof!

J'aime aussi sa texture, il s'applique bien, ne crée pas de paquet, il est crémeux et bien pigmenté.

Tarte Amazonian Clay in Park Avenue Princess in the matte version is part of my collection for some time but I've never had the opportunity to review the product. So here it is!
I was given me this tan after trying his shimmery version I loved so much (product review HERE)

The matte version is really nice to contour my flat face, but also to give you a boost and a nice summery tan. I love using it! It is not too orange, not too dull, which allows it to be versatile and easy to use. Moreover, it is hydrating and waterproof!

I also like the texture, it applies well, does not create patches, it is creamy and nicely pigmented.

Un petit reproche cependant, vous aurez remarqué que la version matte et la version irisée a le même packaging, rien ne les distingue...un peu décevant. Je me trompe régulièrement en les piochant le matin, encore somnolente...

However, a minor complaint, you have noticed that the matte version and the iridescent / shimmery version has the same packaging, it's not possible to distinguish which one is the one you want to use ... a little disappointing. I'm regularly mistaken by digging in the morning, still drowsy with sleep ..

La principale différence, bien sûr, la texture! La version irisée est plus crémeuse avec de jolis reflets dorés, je le trouve vraiment superbe pour l'été car il donne un teint bonne mine et illumine mes pommettes un peu plates.

J'ajouterais aussi que la version matte est plus colorée, la couleur a des tons très légèrement sienne mais tout en ne tirant tout de même pas vers l'orange.

The main difference, of course, the texture! The iridescent version is creamier with some nice golden reflections, I find it really great for the summer because it gives a good complexion and brightens my face, especially my cheekbones which are a bit flat.

I would also say that the matte version has more red undertones but very very light ones, but no worries, you won't be orange at all!
