Mac Lipgloss Cremesheen Glass - Partial To Pink

During this summer, I rediscovered how Mac is such a good brand! This is one of my favorite lipgloss. It's super creamy, with a good coverage and moreover it's not sticky.
I would say that the consistency is really really good and my lips don't dry at all with this formula contrary to so many glosses I already tried.

Mac Paint Pot Rubenesque is such a beautiful summer color! I like the creamy texture of this base/primer/eyeshadow. You can use it as a waterproof base or as a simple eyeshadow for all over your lid. It help to set and make waterproof your basic eyeshadow. So it doen't smudge, nor crease which is a good combination for creaseless girls like me and some of you girls.

As you can see on the first picture, it's very pigmented but you can easily and smoothly blend the product. It also has a nice shimmery finish that you can intensify if you apply several layers but be careful not to apply too much of product because it cracks.
The other color on the swatch is Bare Study that I will review as soon as possible. I love this color which is a perfect brow bone/ luminizing color or all over the lid color.

I was impressed when I took the pot in my hand for the first time because it's such a big jar. When I compare with my Buxom Pug, the Mac one seems enormous. Indeed, it is a 5g/0.17 US oz and it costs  $16.50 and the Buxom is only 3.5g/ 0.12 Oz for $17.
It's definitely a bargain!

Rubenesque is a frosty Golden Peach cream shadow with gold pearls. Color changes depending on your position. So pretty!
I would definitely recommend this product! I use it almost everyday with my Inglot eyeshadows :)

♡Verdict:

♡♡♡♡♡/5

♡Pros:

+ Summer color.
+ Creamy and easy to blend.
+ Pigmented.
+ Double effect, gold or peach.
+ Price: $16.50, not cheap but compared to other high-end brands, it's a bargain!
+ Doesn't crease or smudge.

♡Cons:

- Be careful, it can dry if you don't close the jar properly.
- If you put too much product it can be caky.

Hi, I'm trying a new bronzer from Smashbox. After about 3 weeks of use, I can say that this bronzer has a quite natural effect, you don't turn orange, which is nice if you like soft shades. It's not very visible but it gives you a natural glow even if it doen't have shimmers and a touch of healthiness. I'm not sure for the anti-aging effect because I don't have wrinkles yet and my skin is still firm but I can feel a little bit a something on my skin, It's quite difficult to describe , but it's like, you know, when you wear a hairband. Like if someone was pulling your hair...got it? Sorry for my poor english.

What I don't like about this bronzer is it's texture. For me, it's not creamy enough and I really need a lot of product to see the color and last but not least, it's not a bargain at all, $39...

♡Cons:

- A little bit a shimmer would have been nice.

Inglot Freedom System Palette - Review

Wednesday, June 15, 2011

Inglot Freedom System Palette, inglot, freedom palette, eyeshadow, futilitiesandmore.blogspot.com, futilities and more, futilitiesandmore

When I went to New-York this month, I found my new love! It was in Time Square store... my Inglot palette was waiting for me!

This is a very convenient eyeshadow palette because you can compose you personal palette, which is cool because you don't want to have a palette with some eyeshadows you never use. It's something which happens all the time. There are always one or two eyeshadows you don't use.
So this one is composed with my favorite colors. Almost all are natural neutral shades in pearl, lots of browns, taupes, purple, gold and silver but also orange.

Inglot Freedom System Palette, inglot, freedom palette, eyeshadow, futilitiesandmore.blogspot.com, futilities and more, futilitiesandmore

As you can see, it's quite simple. We have a palette, I chose the 20 palette, because it was too hard for me too chose only 2 or 5 or 10 eyeshadows.

The magnetic palette handy and stackable.

Inglot Freedom System Palette, inglot, freedom palette, eyeshadow, futilitiesandmore.blogspot.com, futilities and more, futilitiesandmore

There are several palette size: 2-3-5-10-20 round or square eyeshadows. And you can fill it with lipstick, blushes or eyeshadows.

PARABEN FREE FORMULA

All the colors I picked up are amazingly pigmented and creamy and it's paraben free. It's probably the best quality I ever used of my entire life. It blends well contrary to some other high end brands like Bobby Brown's palette. I bought a palette from them and I really can feel the difference. You have to pass several time the brush onto the eyeshadow to have the effect and the intensity you want. Colors are beautiful but the general quality doen't worse the cost at all. I'll will write a review of my Bobby Brown palette soon to show you the difference.

As you can see, square refill is enormous, 2,7g, almost twice more than a Mac refill which is only 1,5g.

If you go online http://www.inglotusa.com/ to see how it works.  The more you get, the cheaper it is:
-1 refill: $7
-3 refills: $5
-10 refills: $4.50

♡Verdict:

♡♡♡♡♡/5

♡Pros:

+ the intense color
+ creamy
+ the range of colors is huge!
+ handy
+ good packaging

♡Cons:

Price: less expensive than other high-end brands  but It is still expensive because you also have to purchase the palette!
- Difficult to chose online.
- The service in store is bad.

Mac Nude Lipstick: Blankety

Mac, Nude, Lipstick, amplified, Blankety, partial to pink, futilitiesandmore.blogspot.com, futilities and more, futilitiesandmore

I found my nude lipstick this month! It's one of my favorite lipstick at the moment with the fuchsia one ( the total opposite shade!) . This is a perfect nude lipstick for natural dark lips like mine. I have purple/rosy/light brown lips, so this Mac stick matches with my lips and my skin tone.
The texture is super creamy and almost full coverage. It's not totally matte but the color is very pigmented and lips are perfectly  moisturized for hours.
I generally pat a little bit of Blankety lipstick on my lips and use a gloss to have a beautiful glossy finish. I use a very cute Mac lipgloss with it, that I will review very soon. This is "Partial to Pink"

Mac, Nude, Lipstick, amplified, Blankety, partial to pink, futilitiesandmore.blogspot.com, futilities and more, futilitiesandmore

Pictures are a little bit too light. The real shade is a tiny tiny bit more beige/brown with pink undertone. It's not to light, you don't look "dead" as so many ugly nude lipstick I've seen and not too dark to be considered as a nude color.

Top left picture: lipstick only
Top right picture: Blankety with Partial to Pink lipgloss.
Love it!

You can purchase this lipstick HERE

♡Verdict:

♡♡♡♡♡/5

♡Pros:

+ the intense but natural color
+  Price: $14.50, less expensive than other high-end brands ($22 to $35)
+ creamy
+ full coverage
+ good moisturizing

♡Cons:

- Crease a little bit if you put too much of product
- You have to exfoliate your lips because if you have some dry skin,
the result will be awful!
